I'm kind of picky about how my photos look online. I don't like all the adds and popups they get surrounded and covered by on many of the services. I also have a need to control what can be downloaded and printed Smugmug gives me the tools to do this. I also don't want a ton of spam in my inbox because they sold my email address to someone (I'm still getting spam from viewing some photos on Snapfish, never again!), Smugmug never requires an email address to view photos and never sends spam to your email. Smugmug has 3 service levels for everyone from a soccer mom to someone with professional needs and everything in between, I personally have a Pro Level Account. They have great support also with answers from live people in minutes, the turn around they provide has impressed even me. Well you can't run photo sharing servers, buy a load of bandwidth and staff a support desk for nothing. They have to make money in some way, so I decided it's better to pay to display my photos the way I want, so none of you have to put up with any advertising when you view them. I'm not going to cover all the special features. They are well documented on Smugmug's site. Have a look and enjoy a free 7-day trial (I think it's now 14 days).
B&H Photo Video is now my preferred source of camera equipment. They seem to have just about everything I need or want, most of the time in stock for quick delivery. Every time I've needed to interface with their customer service group they have done an excellent job in providing a quick and fair solution to the problem (generally due to me ordering the wrong thing). I'm pleased to add B&H Photo Video to my affiliate advertisers. They are the professionals choice.
